Hotel Kosmos Anamika

The reception staff were all polite and courteous, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. The surrounding area is pleasant, but getting to the hotel is stressful, whether you’re walking or driving. It’s on a very steep hill, and unless you’re a highly skilled driver, access is difficult. The rooms were disappointing: very small, unhygienic, in poor condition, and clearly in need of maintenance. There’s a lot that needs improvement, especially the room quality and access.

The view from outside the hotel, around the parking area and corridor, was the one thing I liked. We had booked 2 diffent type of rooms, but reaching them meant climbing about 50 staircases, and there’s no lift, so it isn’t suitable for senior citizens. The whole hotel and the rooms had a very bad smell, the bathroom door handles were damaged, and the breakfast food was very poor.

It’s very high above Mall Road, and the surroundings are dirty. The rooms are very poor, while the service is only average, helped along by the complimentary breakfast. Unless you have your own vehicle, avoid booking here. Not recommended.

The staff behaved well, but the room and washroom smelled bad and were in poor condition. The owner should improve the rooms. Parking should be limited to people who know the property, since driving the steep hill and narrow road is very risky. I’d suggest not booking online. Go in person first and send the head of the family to check the hotel and location. If he finds it cool, then go there with the family.
