Hotel Limewood Nainital

The rooms are good and well furnished, and we had a good breakfast. Mall Road is far away, at least 2 km, though the hotel is near the high court. Service could be better. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Manish Rathodi (senior care taker) is ill-mannered, jahil is the right word. They tell you the room is on the top floor, then give you one on the ground floor with no view. The towels are pathetic, and the kettles are burned. The staff are not cooperative.

The hills around The Pinewood Nainital make for lovely views, and the property has a cozy feel. I found it peaceful despite being near the main attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and courteous throughout. A relaxing option for a trip with family or friends.

The response to our complaints was just an apology and a promise to raise it with higher management. When we asked for some relief, such as a partial refund or discount, they wouldn't help. It felt like money was all they cared about. For 16K, what we got was far below what I'd expect, and a five star property would have been within reach. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The two bed room apartment was filthy. Dust was everywhere, the bathroom stank, and the blankets looked unwashed. There were bugs in the bed and hair on it, as though it hadn't been cleaned. The towels were so dirty we didn't want to use them. We also ordered curd with breakfast, but it was sour and fermented, almost as if it had gone bad. I thought anyone eating it could get sick. I attached a few pictures of what I've described. Think twice before booking. It was a pathetic experience, and with service like this I don't see the property going far. Thankyou!
