Hotel Silver Palace

The staff stood out for being courteous, attentive, and quick to help with requests. Silver Palace Hotel is central, so getting around Haldwani was easy. The food was simple but tasty, and the clean rooms were comfortable and fairly spacious. Parking could be better, but it was a good value stay with warm hospitality.

This doesn’t feel like a family hotel, and I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel is surrounded by a stink, and the rooms are tiny and damp. I booked through Goibibo on 7 November 2025. When I arrived and saw the condition, I said the pictures showed something else and that I wouldn’t stay. The owner said over the phone they’d refund me once I cancelled on Goibibo. Later, Goibibo said the owner wouldn’t refund, and that they hadn’t been updated in time. My first bad experience with Goibibo.

I found the location convenient, with easy access to transport and local spots, and the hotel felt calm and safe. My room at Silver Palace, Haldwani was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, a good fit for a solo traveller. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home. It was an easy, comfortable stay, and I’d recommend Silver Palace to people visiting Haldwani, especially those travelling alone.

The location is in the city center, and the rooms are clean. The managers are helpful, especially Mr Varun. Food could be better, but I’ve had a pleasant experience overall. This is my go-to place to stay in Haldwani.
