Lord Krishna Himalayan Hotel by OYO Rooms

The food was nice, and the hotel had a beautiful view.

The owner, who also manages the hotel, was kind and helpful. It was my first time in Mukteshwar, and I didn't know how to get a taxi for sightseeing, but he knew people and arranged one for us at a good price. I'm very grateful. The staff were polite and helpful, and our spacious room was clean. The food was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is right in a small, cute market with everything from a bakery to a wine shop just a minute away. We also got a beautiful sunrise view from the balcony. I'd recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

We were there for one night in January 2023. The Terrace room had an awesome view, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets visible from the room. The owner was generous and supportive, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is in the main market area. They recommended some Kumauni food, which tasted good, and the rest of the food was good too.

The staff were well managed and behaved, and the rooms were clean. We ate really well, from butter toast and tea, sweet lassi or cold coffee in the morning to tasty paranthas and bread omelette at breakfast. We also tried karai paneer, Dal tadka, jeera rice, chicken curry, chilly paneer, fried chicken, chilly chicken and potato fries, all worth recommending. The rooms were superb, with a terrace for mountain views and lovely weather. Sitting on the balcony for morning tea, evening snacks and late night talks was the best part of the stay. Great hospitality.
