Madhuvan Cottage Home Stay

There are several spots on the property to relax with family or friends, and the views are lovely. It’s easy to reach by car or bike, though Starscapes is only about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and kept neat, and Tarun bhaiya ji was genuinely kind and helpful. The food was delicious and generous, but since it’s freshly prepared, order around 45 minutes to an hour ahead. They’re pet friendly, grow their own kiwi and apple, and sell local juice, tea, honey, and more. We had a fantastic stay.

The greenery and quiet here really stayed with me. It’s such a calm, relaxing cottage, and the view was beautiful. I loved everything about the place. Nature lovers should give it a try when they’re in mukteshwar.

We spent a really memorable time here, especially my seven-year-old daughter. She had plenty of room to play on the jhoolas and made friends with Naina, Kanha, Pradeep and Pooja. They played, ate together, and went to a nearby temple. The pug Jhumroo and forest breed Shreu also became her friends and played with her. The cottage is quiet, surrounded by natural beauty, with clean rooms and all the amenities. We loved watching the sunset over herbal tea and pakora, and the food felt home-cooked. Mr Deepak was a warm, friendly host who was always ready to help, and we felt at home. Thanks to my friend for suggesting it. I’d stay here again on a future visit to Mukhteswar.

We keep coming back because the rooms are roomy, clean, and well looked after, and it’s a comfortable place for kids. The food selection is delicious, with savory dishes as well as fresh fruit and juice. Mr. Deepak, the owner, and the staff are helpful and understanding about what we need for our stay and meals. They also explain how to get to the tourist spots. Madhuvan cottage was the highlight of our mukteshwar holiday, and I’d happily recommend it. For me, it’s a 10/10.
