OYO 15170 Maa Gauri Resort

We stopped for tea and snacks, and the dining area has a splendid view over the valleys. There’s plenty of seating, parking is available, and it’s easy to find. We ordered Maggi and fries, both of which were good. The staff were courteous and professional, and the service was quick. They also offer rooms and lodging. A particular concern: food prices differ for locals and tourists. Tea is listed at Rs 20 for locals, but we were charged Rs 25. It’s a small difference, but they should avoid doing that.

I stayed here during a May visit to Mukhteshwar. The place was surrounded by greenery and had beautiful flowers, with a lovely view from the hotel. Meals were available all three times a day, and the food tasted good. Room service was very good, and the staff were calm and helpful. The rates were affordable. Mukhteshwar is beautiful to visit, and this hotel is an option for a stay.

The bed had bed bugs, so my parents went to register a simple complaint and ask for a sheet change. The lady manager yelled at them. She came across as arrogant and full of attitude, and was the most pathetic lady I’ve ever encountered. This was the most pathetic hotel stay I’ve had. I’d never recommend staying here to anyone.

I only went for breakfast, so I can’t really comment on the rooms. I think they’re expensive, starting around 3-4k. The balcony seating has a very good view. The food was fine, though the poha was very spicy even after I asked them to use less spice.
