The location is excellent, surrounded by nature, and the staff are friendly and supportive. Parking is available, and it’s easy to find, about 10 Kms from Nanital on the way from Delhi NCR. The price seems fair for what’s offered, so it could suit someone on a budget, as long as they don’t expect much service or many facilities. Our cottage was just okay, with average cleanliness and hygiene. There was a bad smell in the room, possibly because we visited during mansoon. Facilities were sparse: no TV on the first day and no remote the next, though they brought both when asked. There was no tea or coffee maker or mini bar, just bedding and bath shop. Over our 3-day stay the sheets and towels weren’t changed, and the stair lights were so dim that it felt a bit risky. The food was average, the menu limited, service was poor with so few staff, and most of the cutlery was broken.

The balconies were wonderful, and we could see spectacular views from both rooms. The staff were good, and the food was good too. This isn’t in Nainital, but it’s a good choice if you want peace and happiness, since most hotels on mall road aren’t quiet and don’t offer much peace.

You get such a breathtaking view here, and being away from the city makes it quiet and peaceful. The room and bathroom were well maintained. The one letdown was the food. It was understandably expensive, but the tadka was disappointing.

Mr Chandan, the manager, was very polite and helpful, and the staff were good. The room and wash room were clean, and the food was tasty, so we had an excellent stay. The only drawback is how far it is from the city. If you’re after a view, though, this is a great place.
