The food was good, but the rest of the room experience was poor. The rooms felt outdated and weren't maintained well, and there was no charging point in the individual room. The TV didn't work either. Room service was bad, and even Bisleri bottles cost extra. Some rooms had no keys because they were misplaced, so guests had to switch rooms depending on availability.

The quiet setting is a real plus, with little traffic, and the rooms are clean, have amenities, and come with parking at a budget price. The concern is getting there after 8 PM: the pickup and drop from Masjid stops then, and the walk along the poorly lit, secluded road can feel unsafe, especially with women in your group. There are lots of people drinking along that road, so keep the access in mind before booking.

Breakfast is served buffet-style, and the rooms themselves are good. Dinner quality wasn't good, though, and the bigger problem was hot water. It was rationed, making a three or four day stay very difficult. If booking through OYO, please check about hot water first.

The staff are friendly and polite, and there's an in-house restaurant too. From the Ayarpatta slopes, you can walk to Naini Lake quite easily, and the hills look beautiful in the morning. I had a pleasant stay.
