I paid an advance to secure a Booking.com reservation, but on arrival the room was nothing like the one pictured there. It was dirty, and the hotel's condition was far below what I expected. When I asked for my advance back because of the misleading room listing, staff were rude and misbehaved. The whole experience felt like a scam, and the staff were highly unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone, and would urge others to avoid it so they don't have the same experience.

The rooms were unhygienic and smelled bad, with exposed plug points, and the prices were extremely high for those conditions. The experience was awful because of the room condition, and it felt like a complete loss. Goroomgo's behaviour was worse. This isn't under OYO anymore, and is now managed by some Goroomgo in Nainital and by direct walk-ins. A definite no, and one of my worst experiences.

There wasn't anyone at reception, and the rooms are another issue I don't even want to get into. A friend came to visit, and the hotel owner or manager called him a thief. We didn't react because we wanted to avoid a big fight. Such negativity made the stay feel like a waste of money. I'd suggest not staying here.

The staff behaved well, but the hotel is very high up, with no restaurant or tea shop nearby. I booked through OYO with breakfast, but the manager didn't provide it. The towel was dirty and only arrived after the first night. OYO soap and body wash weren't given either. Drinking water was provided only after I asked.

The hotel wouldn't honor the price offered on OYO and wanted me to pay three times as much. It's about 300 metres from the main road, up a very steep path that's difficult to manage with luggage. I wouldn't recommend booking this through OYO.
