Pratiksha River Retreat

Room 205 was spacious, and the location was great, with nice mountain and river views. There’s plenty of parking, greenery, and open space, and the food was good too. A few things need attention: the exhaust fan was quite noisy and the jet spray pressure was very low. Families with kids have limited activities. Only one ride was available, and it looked rusted and cracked, so it seemed unsafe. The pool is quite small, and the shower by the pool wasn’t working during my stay. It’s a decent place with good potential if these issues are fixed.

The riverbed is an easy short walk from the rooms, where you can dip your feet in the cool water and relax. I loved having tea on the balcony and looking at mangoes on the tree right beside the room, with the mountains, river, greenery, and horses wandering along the riverbed beyond them. The mountain and river views from the swimming pool were breathtaking. The resort is in Dhikuli, one of the best locations in Jim Corbett, with most safari routes, including canter safaris, passing through the area and major attractions close by. From our arrival on June 7 to our departure on the 9th, the hospitality was wonderful. The reception and room service teams were attentive and proactive, always smiling, and quick to help with even small requests. The food was so delicious and well prepared that we never needed to go elsewhere for a meal. Considering the location, food, hospitality, and overall experience, I genuinely think it’s the best hotel in Jim Corbett for its price range. Bhupal Ji made the booking process smooth and effortless. Jag Jeevan Singh Bajetha Ji promptly helped with every service request. Shyam Ji, Virendra Ji, and Sumit Ji took care of our small requests quickly and with dedication, so help always felt close by. Thanks to the whole team for such a comfortable, memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again.

The food was amazing, and the hospitality was top notch. There’s a pool with a riverside view, plus a large ground with a volleyball court and table tennis. The location also gives you plenty to explore. If you’re planning a Jim Corbett visit, this resort is worth considering for your itinerary.

It was okay for sleeping, stargazing, or spending time outdoors. The TV felt dated, though, and the pool wasn’t clean.
