Royal Windsor Hotel

We enjoyed our morning tea on the balcony, listening to different birds chirping in the lawn below. The balcony also had a lovely view of the mountains and a small school. We’re a couple from Mumbai on holiday in Uttarakhand, and Hotel Windsor was our final stop on a 10 day trip. We stayed one night, Oct 12 2025. The rooms were clean and spacious, toiletries were provided, and the food was tasty. Staff were warm and polite. Highly recommended, and best wishes to the team.

The staff were extremely helpful, and aside from the bedding problem the hotel was fine. The mattress had several stains, and even after multiple replacements, every mattress was dirty. I suspect cleaning is outsourced, which may be causing this, but it needs to be fixed. Once they change the cleaning company, I could recommend the hotel.

The breakfast buffet had an impressive range of options, and the front desk staff were particularly friendly and helpful, offering great local restaurant suggestions. My room was spotless, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed and a nice view. The location made it easy to explore the hills and city, with the main square only a short walk away. I recently stayed at Hotel royal windsor and was pleasantly surprised. It was a fantastic visit, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Even though we arrived very late at night, room service was quick, and the food was delicious. The hotel has a nice view, fresh linen, and a well maintained room. The staff treated us like family. We loved being among the hills, and the staff were nice too.
