Saanidhya Homestay

The mountain evenings, the bhel and masala chai waiting when I arrived, Kavita Ji’s lemon tea, and little Krishna with his pet friend Rambo are all memories I’ll keep. Souniya & Arpit ji also celebrated my birthday, which meant a lot. I came for a short break from everyday life, and the peaceful view from my room helped me relax and feel refreshed. Everyone was caring, and whenever I needed something, they took care of it. I had such a lovely stay and hope to come back soon. We went to Mukteshwar, but wound up eating every meal at the property because the food was so good. The hosts were great and made us comfortable without fussing over us. I’ve visited plenty of places in Himachal and Uttarakhand, and this was honestly one of the best. It’s exceptionally quiet and peaceful. If you’re after an offbeat stay that feels different, this is worth checking out. A really solid experience.

You can watch the evening sunset right from your bed, with the valley, mountains and Himalayas all in view. The homestay is well cared for, and the host and staff are warm. The 200-metre downhill walk is worth it for this stay. Thanks, saanidhya team.

The two hosts were so genuinely kind and helpful, sharing useful local tips and making me feel at home. The room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable too. This homestay was better than I expected, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
