Sangita Resort

The views out front are wonderful, with paragliders passing by every few minutes, and there's a little garden with a fountain. The Singh family made us feel warmly welcomed, and the local staff were prompt. We arrived at Sangita Resorts with our extended family on a last-minute trip and stayed three nights. The place is cosy and fairly new, about 500m from the Naukuchiataal main road along a winding road that's being paved quickly. Our adjacent superior rooms were on the top, second floor, with polished wood finishes. There's a good dining area, and their Cafe is a short walk away in the best location in town, with snacks and meals. Highly recommended, including for another visit.

We drove from Lucknow and arrived much later than expected, but the owner stayed in touch throughout the journey to check we were safe. They made sure a delicious dinner was ready when we got there. The hospitality made us feel very well cared for, and they welcomed our puppy too, which is rare in a pet-friendly place with this level of service. At night, the mountains lit up from the individual homes, a breathtaking sight. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

The owners and staff were humble, courteous, and so helpful that the place felt like our own home. The mountain views were scenic, and the rooms were spacious. During our four-night stay, our two-year-old developed a fever and loose motion in the middle of the night. In the morning the owner sent raw ingredients for lemon juice, the cook prepared staple food for my child, and I was given the address of the nearest hospital. A luxurious homestay, definitely worth visiting.

We felt at home here from the minute we arrived. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the positive energy and food were lovely. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and highly recommend it.
