The Kumaon Bliss is a hidden gem in the quiet hills of Bhimtal, with warm hospitality, well-kept grounds, and a nice blend of comfort, nature, and local charm. Spacious, well-furnished rooms have large windows looking over the valley and mountains. Mornings were misty, with birdsong, and the whole place felt calm and refreshing, a welcome break from the city. You can have chai by the garden, take a short trek nearby, or just enjoy the mountain breeze from your balcony. It’s a memorable, soulful stay, and I’d recommend it to families, couples, and solo travelers seeking quiet, nature, and genuine Kumaoni hospitality.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. We enjoyed the tasty food and friendly atmosphere throughout our family trip. It felt like a home away from home, and we made the most of every moment.

I came across this hotel by chance, and as a woman traveling alone with my little Shih Tzu, I felt comfortable and respected the whole time. Even in a mini skirt, I never felt anyone was staring. I’m already planning to return next month, and I only wish my job were fully work from home instead of hybrid. Hehe. I travel to bhimtal, naukuchiatal and nainital almost twice a month and have tried all kinds of hotels and homestays, from modest places to ones costing up to 15k a night. Only a handful have food I’d count among the best. Here, the stay was budget friendly, hygienic, and backed by genuinely polite, respectful staff. The mutton, chicken and vegetarian food all tasted like five-star hotel food, and the cold coffee was among the best I’ve had at an affordable stay. It’s also one of the few pet-friendly places I’ve found. There’s a scooty/bike rental right next door, which made things easy. The service was excellent for the price, too.
