It’s about 30 to 40 minutes, or 18 km, from Nainital city, and each entry into Nainital from the resort costs a ₹300 toll. Parking near the main lake is around ₹500, and free spots are hard to find. Staying near Mall Road may avoid those costs, but it’s much more crowded, noisy, and full of traffic, so it comes down to preference. This resort is in a quiet, scenic valley, away from the city rush. A few good veg and non-veg restaurants and a small utility shop are right outside, and there’s on-site parking for about 5-10 cars. We stayed two nights in February 2026 and found the property quite new, neat, and well maintained, with comfortable, spacious rooms and good furnishings. We booked a Premium Valley View room, which was worth it. The rooms come in Executive Balcony View and Premium Valley View categories. The bathrooms were especially impressive, modern, spacious, and very clean, with new branded fittings. Valley View rooms have either a large terrace shared by three rooms or a long shared balcony, both with lovely valley views. Mornings there were peaceful, and we enjoyed the sunrise. The resort has essential amenities, working Wi-Fi, snooker or pool, table tennis, carrom, and a kids’ play area. The hot and cold AC was handy, letting us warm the room in cold weather without the suffocating feel traditional heaters can sometimes cause. There’s also a heated pool that can be turned on request. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were well prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Monkeys may sometimes be around or enter the property, as they do in hilly areas generally. Netted doors are available, and I’d recommend using them so you can enjoy the mountain air without worrying about monkeys coming inside. It’s a peaceful place with good facilities and great hospitality, and I’d recommend it for a relaxing Nainital stay.

Getting around Nainital was incredibly easy from this conveniently located hotel. Our room and the shared areas were spotless and well maintained, and each meal we had, breakfast and dinner, was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Staff were prompt, polite, and helpful with a smile, and their warm hospitality from check-in through check-out made the stay feel special.

The view along the way was amazing, so we stopped for tea, coffee, and snacks. Prices were a little high, but the taste made up for it. The Maggi, French fries, and club sandwiches were all surprisingly good and just right for the moment.

We were happy with the comfortable stay, the rooms, the service, and the overall sense of luxury. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. A couple of useful things for other travellers: there are 2-3 very good pure veg food options just a short walk from the hotel, so dinner is easy to plan. Breakfast could be better with a fuller spread, including cornflakes and fruit, plus more variety in the South Indian dishes. They served only idli on some days and only medu vada on others. The peaceful, nature-surrounded setting will suit many people, though the winding hill roads can make the trip to Nainital’s main Mall Road a bit hectic with kids. We were satisfied and had a good stay, even if it wasn’t a perfect experience. Best wishes, Dr. Saurabh N. Shah

The hotel has a breathtaking view, and having many other facilities nearby helped us in several ways. The location is good and the stay was nice. I’d recommend staying here if your vacation is near Nainital.
