The food was good, but the prices felt steep for what is a simple cottage, not a hotel: water was 40 rupees, roti was 40 to 50 rupees, and chai or coffee cost 100 rupees. I'd like to see more customer-friendly prices. The rooms were average and not cleaned properly. The geyser was small and the TV didn't work. Staff were polite and respectful, and everything else was decent. The property is very isolated and has no view. It may suit someone who wants to get away and be alone, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. Room cleaning needs improvement, including pillow covers and mattress covers.

We had a really enjoyable stay and the staff were excellent, calm, and accommodating. The villa is a good fit if you're after a peaceful place to spend quality time with family. Driving from Mall Road up to the Fern Villa takes experience, though they do provide pick-up and drop-off between Mall Road and the villa. I'll certainly try to visit again next time.

A quiet getaway in Nainital, with lovely hill views. The Fern Villa's rooms are cozy, clean, and well looked after, and the friendly, helpful staff made the stay comfortable and relaxing.

I loved the peaceful setting up in the hills, surrounded by nature, and the hotel staff were warm and attentive. They provide a complimentary ride to and from Mall road. It was an excellent stay, and I'd stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and very hygienic, and the food tasted really good. Staff were kind and the service was very good too. A very good stay, and I'd suggest it for families.
