I reached haldwani at 1 am and found a dirty hotel, with a yellow-spotted bedsheet, a thick layer of dirt on the floor, and mess everywhere. When I asked for a better room, the frustrated guy on night duty said this was the best they could give me. I left right then, at 1 am, and had to search for another hotel in haldwani. It was a terrible experience. I’m trying to get a refund through online / oyo and will also file a case against the online site and hotel with the consumer forum, since the owner is refusing to refund me.

There was no drinking water in the room, and the bathroom didn’t even have a bucket or stool. We walked into a messy room and had to complain before anyone cleaned it. No service staff came to help carry our luggage from the car, either. Poor management and disappointing service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

PLEASE DON’T COME HERE, EVEN BY ACCIDENT. There are no basic room items like towels or hand wash, and no water is provided. If you ask for it, they tell you to buy it. There’s no room service at all, nobody to carry your luggage, and in the end, no refund.

A hopeless place to stay. The room is spacious, which is the only good thing. The bathroom taps were broken, the heater didn’t work, and sometimes there was no water from the tap. There were cockroaches everywhere.

Don’t come here, not even by mistake.
