The only slight downside is the uphill walk from Central Park in Namchi, about 1 km away. There’s a shortcut from the central taxi stand that avoids the longer route. For solo travelers, I’d strongly recommend this homestay, especially with its dormitory option. It’s affordable for the facilities, and the dorm is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with attractive wooden interiors, comfortable wooden beds, and charming floors. The washrooms are clean, the hot water is reliable, and Wi-Fi is available. There’s also a balcony with a lovely hill view. The staff are welcoming, polite, and humble. The owner is very interactive and offers useful tips for nearby places, which made the stay feel more personal. It’s one of the most beautiful, clean, well-equipped dormitories I’ve stayed in.

The beds in the hostel were clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely helpful and nice. It was quiet, maybe because the place is quite far out, but being between Sandruptse hill and char dham made getting around convenient.
