The Hosteller Narkanda

The common spaces were lively and thoughtfully arranged, so it was easy to meet other travelers while still finding a quiet corner. I also appreciated how fresh and comforting the food was in the cold weather. The Hosteller in Narkanda sits among pine trees with beautiful valley views, crisp air, and a peaceful feel. My room was clean, well cared for, and cozy. The staff were polite and helpful, with advice on local places and activities. It was a lovely mix of scenery, comfort, and a social atmosphere. I’d happily stay again.

The front view and location are nice, and the food and cleanliness were good. Mr. Dinesh was hospitable and pleasant to deal with. The common area and karaoke singing can make the evening more fun. There isn’t a dedicated bonfire area. Heaters and other items are available only when needed and for a charge, so bring your own heater and slippers. If you like watching TV, you may find it a bit inconvenient, so bring a laptop or tablet for streaming.

The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The hotel is also within walking distance of many attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had the amenities we needed. The receptionist and other staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. Check-in was easy and the service was great. I’m already thinking about another visit and would recommend it.
