Hotel Banzai Rooms

The lack of follow-up made an already difficult medical emergency even more frustrating. I had cancelled before check-in and sent valid medical documents, yet the hotel gave me no clear communication. On the booking day, a receptionist called to ask whether we were still coming, so the cancellation clearly hadn’t been passed along internally. They gave me the manager’s number, but several days of attempts to reach him got no response. Later, the hotel wrongly said we had stayed on the booking date. They also said they hadn’t received payment and hadn’t refused a refund, which only added to the confusion. The whole matter showed poor coordination and responsiveness. I expected more professionalism and accountability.

There was plenty of parking, which made arrival easy, and check-in with the welcoming staff was smooth. The spacious room was very clean and a comfortable place to relax after a long day. I had an exceptional stay at Banzai hotel and would recommend it for a comfortable, restful visit.

The rooms themselves were clean and good, but what we paid didn’t match what we got. I checked in around 7-8 pm and paid 3400/-, including breakfast. Because staff were away for Diwali, the hotel said it could only provide tea instead of breakfast, and we agreed. The next morning, before leaving for trimbkeshwar, there was no hot water in the bathroom. They then asked me to pay for tea that was meant to be included, and even charged for water bottles. Online booking prices are lower than what they charge offline, so check the rates before paying directly. We didn’t, and that was our mistake.

We booked two rooms through Goibibo and had to cancel because of a severe medical emergency. We’re still waiting for the 14000 refund, and the manager won’t answer calls. At first, the booking manager said the hotel hadn’t received payment from Goibibo, promised a refund, and said he’d email them to confirm the cancellation and validate our reason. Goibibo later told us the manager had refused the cancellation and that the payment had gone to the hotel. The hotel manager and staff keep saying they haven’t received the money, while staff say only the manager handles it. He doesn’t respond. We received messages asking us to review our stay even though we cancelled. That makes it seem the rooms may have been given to other guests under our names. This has caused a lot of mental harassment. With a medical emergency and their terms saying the amount should be refunded, this feels completely illegal. We chose the hotel after seeing positive reviews, but this experience showed another side. Please be careful before booking. I’m asking the owner to look into this, take action, and return the 14000.
