Navdeep Resort

After checking a lot of other hotels, we ended up here. I called first, and the guy asked where I was from. When I said Ahmedabad, I wondered if that meant we'd be charged more. Later we found out it's an Ahmedabad based Gujarati trust property, and they give preference to Gujaratis. The hotel is right on the road. The staff were good, dinner was simple Gujarati food, and breakfast was good too. I liked the zula on the balcony in each room. Lots of older Vaishnav Gujarati people seemed to enjoy staying here.

The food was just average, but the location was great, the duet rooms were nice, and we had a nice stay overall.

The room felt like having a separate house of your own, and the location is lovely. It's peaceful here, with really good food and staff. Definitely come with family.

The location was lovely, and there was a garden to relax in. The room itself was decent, but hygiene was a problem: there were stains and hair on the bedsheet, and the washroom was unhygienic. I was changing clothes when a waiter came in without knocking or ringing the bell. We hadn't asked for food, water, or any other service. I should have locked the door, but he still should have knocked, whatever his reason for entering. My parents brought it up with management. At first they said they didn't know which waiter it was and made excuses. When my dad asked for the owner's contact and wanted to review the CCTV footage, they refused to show it. We left, then later heard that another family had a similar experience. They didn't give details, but said a staff member had behaved inappropriately toward someone in their family.
