Treebo Trip Everest Lodging

If you want a pleasant trip, don't book this place. At 1 AM, after being denied check-in despite having paid through MMT, we had to pay extra in cash because the hotel claimed it had no confirmation. When MMT customer care called, the hotel didn't answer. I later had to get a refund from MMT. We were stuck there and couldn't afford to find another hotel, so after begging, we changed rooms three times, but each had problems. The manager said the room with bugs on the entire bedsheet was the best they had and there was nothing they could do. The rooms were much smaller than in the photos and dirty. Mosquitoes and little black insects were near the pillow, and I had to clean them myself. There was no washroom lock or room mirror. Only one of four lights worked, and the washroom light was out too. Nobody brought toiletries. The walls had dirty marks and there was hair on the floor. The Zet spray in the washroom leaked and didn't work properly. Towels weren't provided at first, and the ones we eventually got were too dirty to use. There was no room phone to call reception and no lift, so any problem meant walking down three floors of stairs. At checkout, the manager refused a GST bill, saying cash payments didn't qualify, which meant we couldn't get help from MMT. I listed the problems and included photos.

In all my travels and stays, this was a very unpleasant experience. The staff behaved terribly and unprofessionally. I don't know why Fabhotel partnered with dunno. Don't trust the Google or Fabhotel photos. The environment doesn't feel suitable for customers who expect good quality, and it felt unsafe for women.

There was no hospitality or management, and going here was a waste of money. The rooms weren't clean, hygiene wasn't maintained, there was no room service, and the air conditioner didn't work. The charges were so high that I didn't order anything. The rating system needs a minus option because I'd give it a negative score. Never go here!

The food and complimentary breakfast were good quality, and service was great. It's easy to reach from the highway, which makes it a good option with family or friends. The only drawback is the locality. If you're looking for somewhere lively, this isn't it.
