Wanton House

The drink prices are the main draw here: many are available at MRP until 8 pm. There’s seating outdoors, though it’s only about two tables, and the music is good. The place is smaller than other lounges and pubs, but it has two levels, with smoking allowed downstairs and a smoke-free area upstairs. The food is good, the ambience is pretty nice, and service is decent. A pretty good place to spend time.

The chicken popcorn was delicious, and the staff were really cordial. It looks like a small place, but there’s another floor with some nice hanging artifacts. The music is good, and the rates are very cheap. If you have Zomato Gold, the food gets cheaper too. It’s right on the main road, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a car. A great spot, and one to visit.

The wood details around the place catch your eye and give it an airy feel. It’s in a good location, and the happy hour menu is a nice touch. Drinks are very cheap if you order before 8, just a little above what they cost outside. They play unplugged songs after 10. A nice place to visit with a group of friends.

The second floor has a good atmosphere, but the ground and first floors feel bare, like ordinary restaurant space. It doesn’t really live up to the sports bar name. The food and cocktails are good, though staff often seem unsure and take 10 to 15 minutes just to confirm an order, which delays everything. Groups bigger than eight may not find enough seating. It was an OK visit, but there are better nearby options.
