Rainforest Boutique Resort

The views and location are great, but almost everything else felt average. The rooms, even the premium one, were only so-so, and the jacuzzi didn’t feel worth the premium room price. Service, staff behavior, and the dinner and breakfast food were all really bad. Soubin was friendly and good.

We spent one night in the tree house, and it was the highlight of our India tour. Waking up to the waterfall view was amazing, and we’re grateful we got to experience it. Avani and her colleagues at Rainforest Resort were wonderful, attentive, and very service-minded. Thank you.

The Athirapilly Falls view from the resort is stunning, and our four days at Rainforest Resort in Athirapilly, Kerala were magnificent. We made the most of the activities: the Falls trek, bird-watching trek, deep safari to see elephants, and traditional Kerala massages, which were deeply relaxing. Vishnu, our trek guide, even went out of his way to take us to see elephants on a second day. The resort also changed our rooms at a late stage to suit our personal preference. The programs were well organized and enjoyable. The food was fantastic, and Chef Zachariah made delicious, creative meals. Deepak and Akhil looked after us exceptionally well, and Snehal at the front office was very helpful. The resort’s staff made the stay especially memorable, and it’s easy to see why it has received such positive reviews.

The waterfall views are phenomenal, including from our room window. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. We also tried the waterfall trek, which is tough if you’re not an experienced trekker, but our guide took great care of us and went above and beyond. The room was clean and nice, the food was delicious, and service was good. Avani, who I think was the manager, was lovely and did a great job. We’d certainly recommend a visit.
