The mansion has been wonderfully restored, and our huge room was beautifully done up. The staff were very courteous and always nearby to help with a smile. The food was authentic and amazingly yummy. A walk around the neighbourhood takes you past streets lined with beautiful, massive mansions. If peaceful old towns steeped in history and tradition are your thing, this is a place you'd want to visit.

The staff were warm and went out of their way to make sure our family was comfortable throughout our wonderful 3-day stay at Visalam Chettinad. It felt like a home away from home. The heritage property is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and lovely Chettinad architecture. The food was outstanding, authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared every time. Every meal felt special. A fantastic choice for a relaxing getaway with beautiful surroundings and genuinely kind hospitality.

We spent two days at Vishalam CGH Earth and had a very pleasant stay. The property was serene, well maintained, and just right for a peaceful getaway. The food was fresh and flavorful, served with warmth. Sherwin from Wayanad Wild was extremely helpful in coordinating and securing our booking, making everything smooth and hassle-free. Manoj also deserves a mention for excellent service. He was attentive, polite, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We'd happily recommend the place and visit again.

I loved relaxing in the pool after the tiring time exploring the area in the heat, even though the water itself was quite warm. The one improvement I'd suggest is better light insulation. I'm sensitive to light, and had to find a creative way to block it coming through the open vent above the entrance door and window. What a lovely surprise. I've been exploring India for some years but hadn't reached that part of Tamil Nadu before. The mansions are stunning, and staying in one is the highlight. Visalam and its "Chettinad Deco" is a lovely property with impeccable service. It was the highlight of my weekend getaway around the Chettinad area.

The manager and staff were outstanding, taking care of every guest need with charm, humour, and grace. The food was fabulous and a great introduction to Chettinad cuisine. Visalam is a class act in every respect. The property is gorgeous and beautifully represents the fine mansions of Chettinad. We loved our stay, and our two days were over much too quickly. We'd love to come back soon!
