Casa Sol 2 By Iksha

We had a very bad experience during our 3-day stay. The AC wasn’t working, the rooms were dirty, and even the washrooms were in a terrible state. The villa hadn’t been cleaned before check-in, and the caretaker seemed least bothered. Since the AC didn’t work, we had to sleep in the living room. Basic amenities were missing too, and there was a very bad smell throughout.

Asmita, the caretaker, was the one good part of our stay. The villa is a long way from both the beach and the clubs, and the breakfast was pathetic. The view was nice, but sitting outside for more than five minutes was hard because insects were everywhere, in the pool and around it. The pool looked great in the photo, though it was full of jumping, crawling, and flying bugs. One room's AC didn't work, and the other had no hot water. Not worth that much money 👎🏻

The caretaker made the property comfortable, but the manager's behavior was shocking. Our friend had suffered a serious accident and badly hurt his knee, elbow, and face. After we'd checked out and packed up, our cab was delayed, and the manager made us wait on the road. We explained what had happened and asked if we could sit in the living area, but she shouted at our injured friend, saying she could see him on camera and telling him to get out. I wish I'd recorded it so people planning a stay could see what happened and raise the issue with her. I'll post the picture if this forum gives me the option in the next step.

We had already booked again for next year by the time we left. Casa Sol gave our group a very private, lovely stay, and the terrace was a perfect spot for the host's barbecue night, with a beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. The place was clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the caretaker and cooks were available around the clock for whatever we needed. Great for a stay with friends or family.
