Greenambit - The Calissa

The parking can feel tight with a larger vehicle, and the roads outside are narrow. Bikes and scooters take up much of the driveway, leaving little space to park. Otherwise, this is a decent, quaint apartment property managed through Airbnb, away from the usual bustle of central Calangute and Baga. Quite a few restaurants and bars are within walking distance, which is handy when travelling.

The rooms are spacious, have a good view, and are pretty much perfect, though the bathroom and sofa could have been cleaner. My main problem was with the Goa Miles cabs. They could come to the location, but local travel cabs wouldn’t let them pick us up there. They swore at us and the Goa Miles driver, took advantage of the situation, and demanded two, three, even four times the Goa Miles fare for the same ride.

I’d give the 104 sionest flat 10 out of 10. It was clean, well maintained, and had all the amenities. The bedroom was roomy, and having its own balcony was a lovely extra. Ms. Rachana, the rental manager, was humble, responsive, and well behaved. I especially liked the kitchen, which came with all the utensils. A great fit for couples or families, especially if you like cooking for yourself.

A lovely apartment with a great feel to it. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the furniture is beautiful. I’d recommend it. I’ve taken off one star because there were no basic kitchen supplies. A little tea powder and sugar would let guests make tea or coffee.
