Treebo Green Village Resort with Pool

A decent, economical place without frills if you’re heading to Tillari or elsewhere along the Maharashtra border with North Goa. My room felt like a suite, with a separate drawing room; the toilet and bathroom weren’t attached to the bedroom. The amenities are basic but work, and the location is alright, though the hotel sits behind some residential quarters. Service was okay. They can be quite strict about granting even one extra hour for a late checkout.

The cottages look lovely and cozy, with a peaceful lake view, and there are swimming areas for adults and kids. They also have rain dances. I found the resort especially appealing for its green surroundings, with botanical plants from around the world. Our rooms were spotless, very spacious, and set up with the basic things we needed. The staff were supportive, and the meals were freshly made and tasty, especially breakfast. It’s a relaxing nature getaway near Goa if that’s what you’re after.

The kitchen was closed during our stay, but there’s a good restaurant right next door that serves seafood. Booking and arrival were easy, and the hospitality was top notch. Our room was clean and spacious, and the semi-farm was well maintained. We ate fruit straight from the trees, and the pool, farm, and kids’ play area were all beautifully looked after. The garden walk was interesting too, with trees and plants labeled by name. A lovely spot for a staycation instead of the usual Goa trip.

The beds and sofa were hard as wood, and the TV room had no AC. After booking a package, breakfast turned out to be only bread and butter. The restaurant wasn’t functioning either. Calling rooms in an unsellable building a resort feels like cheating. Please describe this honestly as a two-star hotel in a remote village, not a resort.
