Garh Panchkot Eco Tourism Unit 2

We enjoyed the Chhau dance in the garden on the evening of 25 December 2025. There were around 15-20 performers, and it brought a nice cultural element to our stay. Our Deluxe Double Bed Room, Room No. 217, was very spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The whole property was clean and well maintained, and seemed well organized. Staff were polite, helpful, and cooperative. We had lunch at the restaurant too, the food tasted excellent and was good value. A very pleasant, peaceful place close to nature, and I'd recommend it.

There were nine of us, and we had a lot of fun. We went at the end of December, so it was peak time and the place was full. Check-in and room service were a bit chaotic, but we still loved our stay. A peaceful spot with great food and plenty of time to relax.

The food was really good, and the resort has the things you'd want for a getaway, including a pool, a playground, tree-lined paths, and lots of flower pots. The grounds are beautiful and made the stay enjoyable. Check-in and staff coordination could be better, though.

The resort and its grounds are attractive, spacious, and the staff are good, but getting there and getting around is difficult. The location feels quite remote, the roads are badly broken, and an auto ride can leave your outfit ruined. Mobile reception is also poor, with incoming and outgoing calls hard to get. There isn't reliable public transport such as autos, cabs, or buses, and reaching Asansol Station can be a problem. At checkout, guests are given luggage to take to the gate, but arranging the resort's auto-rickshaw can be difficult. I'd only book here if I had my own transport.
