The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort, New Chandigarh

The chefs took time to talk with us, learn what we liked, and make the meals feel personal. The food was delicious, nicely presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Chef Siddhartha was especially warm and attentive, and his passion for looking after guests really stood out. What I’ll remember most is how gently the staff cared for our baby. At meals they played with him and kept him happy so we could eat in peace, and they were just as kind and playful at other times. From arrival onward, the care felt natural and never forced. The calm setting and kindness made us feel the whole family, including our little one, was looked after. We left with lovely memories and would love to return. A truly memorable stay, highly recommended.

The rooms and villas were comfortable and beautifully appointed, with breathtaking views. Its royal-inspired architecture blends with modern comfort, and the hospitality was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It’s a calm, understated luxury experience, suited to a relaxing getaway, celebration, or soulful retreat. Highly recommended.

Yesterday we celebrated my parents’ 20th anniversary at Sukhvilas. Almost all our family occasions have been at The Oberoi properties, where I’ve stayed for quite some time, and they keep impressing us. The property was enchanting and the staff full of energy. Thanks especially to Mr. Sidharth (Head Chef), Ms. Smyara, Mr. Anish, Mr. Yuvraj, and the entrance staff, who went out of their way when our car broke down. And thank you to everyone else who helped make the occasion memorable. The warmth and hospitality were impeccable, as always. The Oberoi sets the benchmark for excellence. The setting at Sukh Villas Resort is beautiful, and the atmosphere overall is excellent. Service was very good too. The coffee disappointed me, especially compared with Soo Good in the marriage palace. The pizza was just average and could be better in both taste and quality. Better coffee and food would make the experience perfect.
