We left early the next morning and found a much better place nearby. I'd planned to stay here for 3-4 nights, but after talking it over with my wife, we decided to book just one night first and check the room and bathroom. We had our four-year-old with us and arrived around 1 a.m. after landing at IGI airport. It was freezing, and the hotel was hard to find. Despite booking on WhatsApp and paying the advance, staff initially said they had no booking. It took 15-20 minutes for them to confirm it. The number I'd booked through was unreachable, even though I'd been told someone would answer 24 hours a day. There was no direct online contact for the actual owners or property manager. I had already told the person who booked us that we'd need an extra mattress for a family member, but staff scolded us for arriving late and said we hadn't informed them. The room was poor, with dripping taps and an unclean mattress, and staff took another 15-20 minutes to arrange the extra one. My wife was so angry about how we were treated that she yelled at the staff member. We had been assured the room and bathroom would be clean and the stay hassle-free.
