Hotel The Anvi Residency

We booked 30 rooms for an event, but none were fit to stay in when we arrived, so we had to move the whole family to another hotel. The management wouldn't accept the problems or fix them, and they still aren't willing to refund the advance. During booking they were very polite and showed us rooms in good condition. But some rooms had broken windows, others had no geyser, and the rest were dirty, smelly, with dirty sheets and burnt holes in them. The bathrooms were dirty too. A truly awful experience.

We had to leave after finding the place in such an unhygienic state and move our booking elsewhere. We had reserved 30 rooms, but the manager is now refusing to return our ₹75,000 advance, which feels highly unprofessional. The rooms were dusty and smelled awful. Toilets were filthy, linens and towels were stained, and the windows and doors were broken. Some lights didn't work, the lift was out of order, and there was no geyser in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We ended up cancelling at the last minute. Out of the 30 rooms I booked for relatives, only three seemed suitable to stay in. The rest were shabby, with dirty toilets, and looked nothing like the pictures online. Service was third-rate, with just four staff members handling everything. The lift wasn't working either, and I wouldn't trust the management's promises.

The plates were dirty, and there were only 40-50 of them for the 200 guests we had told them to expect. People had to wait while the plates were washed and reused. We had booked the venue and 15 rooms for my sister's mehendi and haldi. At booking, they were polite and promised a great function, but that didn't match what we got. In two rooms the showers didn't work, three had broken fans, and the ACs weren't cooling. The hall AC was out too, so guests were sweating. Even after asking several times, we just got excuses. I can't recommend this venue.
