OYO 19536 New Apple Pie

The deluxe rooms are really good for the price, though the super saver and classic rooms are small. Food takes 30-45 minutes to arrive, so they should speed up the service, but the quality is good. Staff are courteous and well behaved. It's a nice, peaceful place to stay.

The main thing going for this hotel is its location. The rooms are tiny, more like a lodge, though I suppose that's what the price gets you. Check-in took a long time, and the staff member wasn't very friendly. We ended up here because OYO sent us to a hotel whose contract had expired, where we got a terrible room. That wasn't this hotel's fault, but we had plenty of trouble here too. After all this, I've decided to avoid OYO. They keep adding hotels without proper quality checks.

The location is hard to access, and the way there had lots of dogs and water from seepage pooling on it. Still, for Rs 370 per night with breakfast, it was a decent deal. The bed was hygienic, the AC worked, and breakfast was decent. Good tea, too. There was a weird start at check-in. When I said the room wasn't up to my expectations, the bell boy or housekeeping person told me not to get comfortable. It wasn't funny at the time, though I think I understand what he meant now. I was staying here because my house was under renovation.

Most rooms are on the third floor, and there's no lift, only stairs. The rooms are horrible, the flushes don't work, and the washrooms won't lock. Electricity is often out, so don't choose an AC room, and the TV doesn't work. Food is bad, prices are much higher, and they don't accept OYO bookings either. Couples mostly use the rooms.
