Bad hotel and rude reception. They accepted my booking through OYO, and the hotel confirmed it by phone, but when I arrived they refused to give me a room at the OYO price. They said I could take one at a different rate and weren’t helpful. It felt like they were taking advantage of my situation.

I booked and paid the full amount in advance, and confirmed with the property, but they still refused to check me in when I arrived. It felt like a big fraud. There were lots of unmarried couples waiting at reception, while the receptionist gave them rooms one by one for 2 -3 hours in exchange for extra cash. This seemed like a chaddar badli OYO.

They kept saying the rooms were sold out even though I’d booked. It felt like they just wanted more money: pay extra and the room is yours. What cheap people.
