Royal Residency by OYO Rooms

The unsafe feeling around the location was one more problem, and the room locks barely worked. I somehow managed to shut the door. Inside, the room was filthy, with burnt cigarettes around, and it hadn't been cleaned before I was given it. There was no fan, and the TV remote had no battery. The geyser didn't work either. When I tried charging my phone, the electrical point was faulty and flashed as soon as I turned on the switch, damaging my charger. Thankfully, my phone was fine. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It's disappointing that Oyo has this kind of filthy place registered. Please be careful and don't book it.

We booked for three people through Oyo, and they wouldn't give us the extra mattress Oyo provides. The room smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and the service from the staff was awful and unprofessional. OYO customer care was literally dumb. Avoid this place, the management will ruin your stay.

The rooms are tiny, there's no housekeeping, service is terrible, and the place is very polluted. My experience as a tenant was the worst. The bottom two floors are the Oyo hotel, while the top three have rooms rented by the month, without kitchens. I don't know about the hotel side, but the person looking after those upper floors is very diplomatic. I've spoken to a lot of people moving out, and none had got their security deposit back from the owner. I paid the owner a deposit too, and later he refused to return it. Don't rent a room here.

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff were helpful, especially the front desk, who were supportive. Wi-Fi was fast, and it was a beautiful experience. I'm always amazed at how this hotel manages such good quality and hygiene during such a tough time.
