The Winter Green Premium Room was spacious, and the staff were helpful and attentive whenever I needed anything. There’s a small market nearby, which made picking up essentials easy. I spent two nights here with my partner, and parking was available, though the dedicated area felt congested, so check the arrangements before booking. The main letdown was cleanliness. The towels and sheets had noticeable stains, and the coffee cups were dirty too. Staff replaced both after I pointed it out, but they shouldn’t have been in that state to begin with. Hot water was also unreliable in winter: the boiler was shut off from midnight until 4 a.m. The service itself was good, but with The Fern name I’d expected more care with cleanliness. Those issues had a real effect on my stay.

I booked six rooms at The Fern Residency for a family function, and it was a terrible experience. Three rooms had a disgusting smell, and one had dampness on the wall. Staff were rude, and the service was bad. The hotel is right beside a slum area, too. They charged me twice for the food bills, saying the payment hadn't come through. When I asked for one transaction to be refunded, the GM and owner refused to help. I lost Rs. 15K.
