We had trouble resting because guests in other rooms were talking loudly, and children were noisy late at night. More consideration from them would have helped. The hotel itself was decent, though the Google photos gave a somewhat misleading impression. We booked a triple room through the app ahead of time and paid a little over ₹6000 for two days. Check-in is fixed at 12 PM, so arriving early may mean waiting. Our room was clean, with hot water, enough storage, and the extra bed we expected. There’s no kettle or coffee maker, but there are plenty of tea shops nearby. Wi-Fi is available. The first-floor restaurant serves tasty food, but there’s no breakfast. Staff were polite, parking was adequate, and the hotel was easy to reach. We felt safe there. It’s a fair place to sleep if you’re mainly in town for sightseeing.

We got hot drinking water, and the room boys were quick and helpful whenever we called. Check-in was easy, and the room felt comfortable enough, with decent interiors. The doors and cupboards look old and rustic. The stairs are steep, and there’s no lift, which gets tiring if you have to go up and down often. Smoking is allowed, and someone smoked in the corridor while we were there, so the smell drifted into our room. The doors let through corridor sounds, including footsteps and conversations, and traffic noise kept coming in too. A school group arrived around midnight and kept us awake until they settled down. The basic amenities were okay, but the noise, stairs, and smoking policy affected our comfort a lot. It might suit someone looking for a budget stay, but not someone after a quiet one.

There are plenty of decent rooms to choose from for a night or two. Just keep in mind there’s no lift, so it’s a better fit if stairs aren’t a problem for you.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. These are just my own impressions, and you may have a different experience. The location is handy if you want to walk to the market, the botanical garden, or the rose garden. The botanical garden is especially close. It’s an older property right by the road and near a traffic signal. If you get a balcony, the view is of the busy road, not Ooty’s gardens or mountains. There’s car parking, and the room was a good size, but the bed was small. The washroom was good and had a geyser. There’s no lift, no tea or coffee maker, and no room service. The room had no water bottles, just a small hot-water container. I had to call each time I needed a refill, and they only gave hot water. When I asked for normal water too, they said they didn’t have any. There was no room-cleaning visit during my stay, though perhaps you need to ask for it. The room had a food menu and landline, but no reception or service number. I searched online for their number to request water. Of the three numbers I found, only one answered. I wouldn’t recommend it because of these issues. I’d look for somewhere with a peaceful stay, a good view, and better service. If you’re willing to put up with the problems, you can still stay here.
