The rooms are spacious and have a pleasant feel, and the property is tidy with great views outside. It's conveniently close to Ootty town, and the staff were very helpful. Drinking water could have been provided free, though, and the washroom water heater wasn't heating properly. We booked breakfast, which was delicious and served in generous portions, with tea. Recommended overall.

We enjoyed our two-night family stay and would recommend it to families. The building has a well-kept colonial feel, with wooden floors and walls that give it a luxurious look at a budget price. The rooms and toilets were clean, and there was hot water all day. There's an in-house restaurant with a limited menu; food was prepared fresh and served hot on time. The owner and staff were friendly and supportive. Outside, there's a lovely mountain view to enjoy with morning coffee, plus plenty of room for cars and vans.

Check Wi-Fi availability in your room before booking. There was no coverage in the first-floor rooms B6, B7 and B8. The room itself was very basic, with no way to get hot drinking water, and the beds in the rooms were different sizes. I paid 850 per room for three rooms, and it wasn't worth it.
