The best part was the setting. It’s near the Masinagudi bus stand, with a lovely view backed by the Nilagiri mountains. The space is limited, but they’ve used it nicely, adding greenery to much of the property and making good use of the available area. We could hear lots of birds chirping, a lovely sound to wake up to along with the flowers. My kids enjoyed the small but well maintained outdoor play area. There’s an indoor play area on the 1st floor too, though it needs more upkeep. Breakfast choices were limited, but the food was good and not too spicy. Parking is available, and it’s also possible to park on the street beside the property. We stayed 2 days on a family vacation. Staff were cooperative, and the stay was memorable. One concern: lunch and dinner are made to order only for a limited number of guests, and there aren’t many better restaurant options in this location.

Right by Mudumalai forest, this is a handy base for birdwatching, though I imagine most visitors are hoping to see tigers. The rooms are modern and very clean, even if they're basic. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with. The food was a real highlight: my vegetable biriyani had plenty of cinnamon, cloves, and cashews, and was the best one I'd had. It went great with paratha.

For a family visit to Masinangudi, Nest inn is a good option if you want a decent place to stay. The area felt nice and safe, room service was good, and the restaurant was nice too.

We were there for just one night, but left very pleased with the staff and service. The rooms were well kept, and they did their best to handle our food requests, which mattered a lot since we were travelling with kids. It was a very good stay.

The food choices weren't extensive, but what we had was tasty. Mr Aldrin was especially helpful and friendly, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. The hotel is right in Masinagudi town, and we had a very comfortable, pleasant stay.
