The staff at Hotel Noor Mahal were incredibly helpful. I realized I’d left my bag there after I’d already travelled more than 100 km away, and they went out of their way to send it to where I was. I’m truly grateful for their generosity and excellent service. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the hotel for its customer care.

I called to book, and the person on the phone explained a lot about the property and nearby places. They arranged the room quickly without much fuss, and online payment was available. They only book rooms with some advance payment. Unfortunately, I had to cancel for personal reasons, but when I let them know, they immediately offered me a refund. I found that very good. Nice hospitality, budget rooms, nice people, nice place.

The restaurant is a bit expensive, but the hotel is nice, right on the bank of the Lidder river in Pahalgam, and the rooms are well furnished. Room service is pretty good. Everyone, from the manager down to the other staff, was cooperative, soft spoken, and helpful. In general, the people of Pahalgam are honest.

The rooms weren't hygienic, and the washroom was in bad shape. We also had no electricity at night, which made the stay disappointing. I hope they sort these problems out for future guests.
