Hotel Zillion Inn By OYO Rooms

The room was tidy, the bathroom clean, and check-in went smoothly. We got two towels and soap, and the TV worked well enough to watch IPL. The AC was noisy and didn’t cool especially well. We stayed three days at this UIIC employees holiday home, and for the low amount we paid, it was okay. Its main draw is the location in central Panjim, with shops, restaurants, the cruise area within walking distance, and Miramar beach nearby.

I arrived after booking a room, only to be told at reception that none were available. The owner yelled at us on the phone and said he doesn’t work with online bookings. I’ve now been waiting on Agoda’s line for about 30 minutes to cancel, and really hope I don’t run into this kind of unprofessional treatment again in such a beautiful country as India.

We were left with no choice but to book another room that day, 03.05.2025, because we had our luggage and infant with us and nowhere else to go at short notice. We’d already paid for a hotel booked through Agoda. When my wife and I arrived, they said they had no contract with oyo and accused oyo of using the hotel’s name to cheat people. They refused to honor the booking and told us to book a new room. I called oyo customer care at the number they gave us. The person who answered said they were in sales and would connect us to the right team, but no one ever connected. We called three or four times without getting an answer. In the end, oyo and hotel Zilion inn got our money.

They wouldn’t let me check in. The owner said he hadn’t put any listing on agoda and called it a fraud site, and they aren’t accepting online bookings. They charge 2000 per night. This didn’t feel like a family hotel either, there were men roaming around the whole place, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families. A horrible experience.
