Panaji Residency

We booked the front-facing deluxe rooms overlooking the river. The views were exceptional, and the bedding and linen were comfortable. The location is the biggest advantage, with Big Daddy Casino and Fountainhas just a two-minute walk away and plenty of attractions and sightseeing nearby. There were some drawbacks: our room had no hot water, and the TV kept switching off because of a poor signal. Breakfast was basic and had very limited choice, with no buffet, just one plain dosa, one omelette, and tea or coffee. We still loved the stay, mainly for the location.

Parking is paid, and often there isn’t a spot, so you have to look elsewhere. Check-in is too late and checkout too early. The rooms are good, but you’ll definitely see cockroaches, check the pictures. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get, so better to eat outside. The hotel is in a prime location.

I saw the property in person and found the rooms very neat and up to the mark. Breakfast is complimentary, and it’s centrally located. The room view is worth seeing, especially the Mandovi riverfront. Ms. Sneha Surlakar From Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. kindly guided me online and helped me get the best deal. The receptionist was welcoming, helped us look at the property options, and seemed genuinely interested in greeting us. I’d recommend this place to travellers for its tidy rooms, location and view. The service is quick and responsive, and management is helpful and accommodating. The rooms are some of the best for a stay in Panajim. Very good stay, would recommend to all.
