The hilltop setting gives the hotel great views, and it’s close to the old town if you fancy heading out. There are a couple of restaurants on site, plus a casino. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s good for a swim and some sun. Just be aware the sun goes behind the hotel around 3pm, so it’s better to swim earlier. It gets pretty cool after that. I had an Executive room with a balcony. It was spacious, with two A/C units and a large bathroom with a powerful shower. There are two lifts inside and two more from the taxi drop-off. The staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Room service late at night was tasty and arrived hot. Breakfast was plentiful, good, and hot too. Check-out was easy. It’s not the cheapest, but I thought it was worth every penny. One of the best hotels in Goa, and I’d happily go back. Give it a go.

The restaurant food was a highlight for me. Everything I tried was fresh, full of flavor, and nicely presented, and the breakfast buffet offered a good mix of local and international dishes. My room was spotless and roomy, with modern decor and a very comfortable bed. The balcony view was breathtaking, especially at sunrise. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff welcomed me warmly and handled everything professionally. I had an amazing stay at The Crown Goa Hotel.

A great base for exploring Goa, The Crown sits above the river with views over Panjim, the beautiful Portuguese city. The Latin sector, with its colorful bars and cafes, is a five-minute walk away. We felt very safe, and there were no hawkers around. The staff were fantastic and showed generous Goan hospitality. They weren’t looking for tips, they genuinely wanted to make our stay memorable. The restaurant was terrific for breakfast or dinner, though Goan cuisine is well worth going out to try too.

The Crown Hotel made for a wonderful visit, largely thanks to the people. Mr. Bosco was welcoming, friendly, and attentive to details, which made the experience memorable. Mr. Amol, the Head Chef, served delicious food, with every dish cooked just right and full of flavor. Compliments to the whole kitchen team. I highly recommend the hotel for its food and service, and will definitely visit again.
