Hotel Khandesh Residency

Mr Hari Shetty was the most caring and helpful person I met while arranging our wedding at Hotel Khandesh Residency. The whole team made the day memorable, and everything from hospitality to management was handled perfectly. Guests were comfortable, the service was top-notch, and everyone loved the delicious food. The decorations and atmosphere looked stunning. It was an unforgettable experience, and I'd highly recommend this hotel for a wedding.

The food was a serious problem, especially the Sabudana Khichdi, which was so thick and sticky it felt like it had been dumped in glue. I believe Food Safety authorities should inspect the kitchen's preparation and storage conditions. We had booked Hotel Khandesh in Panvel for a marriage ritual and paid in full, expecting professional service, but the event was mismanaged from start to finish. When we arrived, there was no electricity, the hotel seemed deserted, and no staff came to greet or help us because they were apparently busy elsewhere. It took 90 minutes to get the generator running, and even then the staff wouldn't turn on the hall's AC. A large group was left in a closed hall without cooling or ventilation despite us paying for those facilities. Power failed twice during the rituals, and there was no reliable backup, guidance, or management accountability. A ritual or wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Hotel Khandesh took our money but didn't provide basic lighting, cooling, or edible food. I can't recommend it. I'd look elsewhere for an important event to avoid the stress and disappointment we went through.

The seafood here is the best I've tried in Panvel and Khandeshwar. I'm also a big fan of their butter chicken. Great food and a good mood. Highly recommended. All the best, cheers 👍

We had dinner downstairs in the Family Fine Dine section, and it was a really good experience, especially the service. The restaurant has a pleasant indoor setting with plenty of dining space and a TV playing music or shows. I can't comment on the rooms. For food, we started with Fish Chilly Rawas, a seafood starter that was excellent in both quality and portion size for two. The Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani came with raita and palak gravy, which tasted good too. Dinner for two came to about ₹848, as shown on the bill, so it's a bit pricey, though good food and service made that easier to overlook.
