The street noise kept me from getting a good night’s sleep, and several advertised amenities were missing or out of service. When I complained about the dust and debris in the corners of my room at Hotel Leo, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. The room wasn’t clean when I arrived, which added to my frustration. For the price, I expected better, and I won’t return.
At Hotel Leo Pathankot, the owner was very rude to customers. He asked for extra charges and charged more for the room. I’d ask anyone visiting Pathankot to avoid this hotel because he charges too much and treats customers rudely.
We were there for a family function. The hall at the entrance had DJ chairs and plenty of space, with catering in the basement and the rooms upstairs. The room was just okay in size, but neat and clean. The hotel faces the highway on the main road, with markets on both sides and behind it. It’s budget friendly, so you could stay there if you don’t have high expectations.
It’s a newly constructed hotel with big rooms, but the rest was a letdown. Cleanliness was lacking, and the bathrooms still stank after being washed several times. The worst part was finding bedbugs in the mattress and bedsheets after we’d slept for a few hours. We were bitten and took 7 days to recover, after a long medicinal course.
The location is a big plus, near the national highway and right by the market entrance, with everything within walking distance. There’s a petrol pump nearby and 2-3 ATM near the hotel, one just 10 footsteps away and the other two about 100m away, which can help when you need cash. It offers budgeted rooms and a little but good parking space. The rooms are beautiful, the place is clean, and both the staff and owner are lovely.
