OYO 28156 Adam's Bridge International Hotel

Staff behavior was good, but the hotel is in a remote part of patliputra. There was no kitchen, and they wouldn't let us order food online, though they could get food from a tie up hotel. The bathroom in my room wasn't clean, and there was no TV in my room, though that may be different in other rooms. It works for a one day stay.

I ended up paying ₹800 for a walk-in room that wasn't worth that price after OYO refused to let me check in, even though I'd prepaid when booking online. It took nearly an hour to reach OYO customer service, and they still couldn't sort it out, so I had to cancel the online booking and pay again at the property.

The location is tucked away inside the city, and the restaurant mostly serves Chinese food, with no Indian options. The staff were polite, but basic services were missing: no Wi-Fi, no working geyser, poor sanitation, and no cleanliness service. During my seven-day stay the sheets weren't changed. I heard the same complaints from other guests too. The manager was no help and was usually chewing pan masala, and I never got an invoice copy. The worst part was that bookings were cancelled automatically. I came back to this review page years later and saw that cancellation problem was still being reported. The management kept cancelling bookings, as I eventually realized. This place is a waste of time, definitely avoid it. (2-3 years ago) The same booking cancellation issue is still showing up in reviews. A big no for this hotel.

The hotel should either be taken off OYO or bring its standards up. OYO's captain assured me something would be done, but the hotel seemed more interested in earning money than improving guests' experience. There was no Wi-Fi, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and there was no room service. My room also went three days without being cleaned, so I took out the rubbish and cleaned the bin myself. The linen stayed unchanged until I asked. The TV didn't work; when I asked them to recharge DTH, they said they'd do it in a minute, but it never happened, so I used Hotstar instead.
