The hotel is old but well maintained, with hot water available 24 hours a day. Breakfast was generous and good. I've stayed here before, and can recommend it 100% as a good base for exploring Yuksom. The hospitality feels warm and caring.

The breakfast was good and more than I could eat, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the hot water worked. It's great value for the money. The only issues were slow WiFi, which only worked in the lobby, and poor cell reception. That might just be the case throughout Yuksom.
I paid 1800 for a room when I stayed on the 4th of this month, and it was filthy. There were dead bugs, cobwebs on the ceiling, a dirty carpet, and dusty furniture. The dustbin was disgusting, with trash stuck to it. A broken window had been covered with a plastic sheet. Worst experience ever. I'd recommend staying at other properties in Yuksom.
The location, near the start of the market and close to shops and restaurants, is especially suitable for trekkers. The room was nice and spacious, and the food was tasty with good variety. Hard-working staff provided excellent service.
We stayed here both before and after the trek, and enjoyed both visits. The rooms are spacious, the views are nice, and the staff are helpful. The shower hose in the first room was a bit short. Other than that, it was a great stay.
