Treebo Malhaar Regency

Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The tea is the best, and the food is good.

Breakfast was good, especially the local dishes. If you’re South Indian, just don’t expect the chutney to be hot and spicy. We were travelling with a child and had to leave early each morning, and the staff kindly packed breakfast for us. They were extremely helpful, and late check-in was easy. Our rooms were neat and tidy, and we had a great six-night stay. There was a hot-water problem during the last two days, which fell on a weekend when the hotel was fully booked. The staff did what they could to sort it out quickly. It’s cozy and clean, and worked well as a budget hotel for coming back to rest at night.

The photos on Google led me to book this hotel, but the stay was terrible. At the entrance, the lift doors were manual and very hard to open and close. Be careful, as you could hurt your fingers. The bed was too small, so I wouldn’t book it for two people. At night, water kept dripping from the AC. I tried calling reception, but nobody answered, so we went down and found no one there. In the morning, when we reported it, the staff member said we should have switched off the AC. Someone came up, turned it off, and left. We had booked with breakfast included, but when we asked where to get it, reception handed us a paper and told us to go to a nearby restaurant.

The food was awesome, and Kapsa Biryani is a must-try. The staff are polite and helpful, keeping the rooms clean and looking after the basic things. Prices are low compared with other hotels, and the hotel has good connectivity. The owner also asks guests for feedback on the service and food.
