Jeyam Residency by Fabhotel

The floor was in terrible shape, the room smelled bad, and cleanliness and maintenance were nowhere to be seen. There was no water bottle or exhaust fan either. The staff were rude and acted like helping guests was a favor. I wouldn't give this place even one star, and I wouldn't recommend it if comfort matters to you. Afterward, they texted to say they had no record of my stay. I replied that I had stayed there but didn't want to share my identity or cause myself any trouble. I said I was raising these concerns so they could improve: the staff weren't welcoming, the room fell short of basic hygiene, the location felt tucked away and hard to reach, and the floor was in very poor condition. I also mentioned the missing water and ventilation. My stay was disappointing, and I hoped they would take the feedback seriously and improve their service for future guests.

The plumbing in the washroom was poor, with taps that leaked. The room windows had only translucent curtains instead of glass panels, and the paint made the place feel a bit like a hospital room. There is no parking, despite it being listed among the amenities, so you have to leave your vehicle on the road. The booking was very cheap, so it may be fine for a few hours, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer.

I found it peaceful for a solo trip, and the staff and management were very friendly. The atmosphere was 5/5, and the service and comfortable rooms made my stay at Jeyam Residency Pondicherry a really enjoyable one. The rooms were modern, clean, and had the amenities I needed to relax. It's a memorable option for budget-conscious travelers in Pondicherry, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry for a pleasant stay.

The room was decent and had AC, though I found it a little small. The hotel is around 6 km from Pondi main beach and white town, so it's a bit far from those spots. Eden beach, where you can swim, is nearby, as is the Mangrove forest boat safari. That safari may not be on many people's lists since it's not very popular. All in all, it's a decent place to stay.
