Kadal is about a 10-minute walk from Serenity Beach, in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Unlike another place where we'd felt uncomfortable going outside, we felt fine here. The house setup has private rooms plus a shared kitchen and living space. Our room was spacious, with a large bathroom and a small balcony, although the view wasn't much. We liked relaxing in the backyard instead, where there was plenty of seating for eating, chatting, or unwinding. The pool was the highlight: clean water, lovely weather, and a very relaxing place to spend time. Breakfast was ample and homey, but the menu was much the same each day. The staff were kind and helpful, arranging bike rentals, autos, and cabs, and even packing fruit when we left early for Auroville. Their warmth really stood out. It's a bit far from White Town, and autos can be expensive, so renting a two-wheeler is the best choice. Going back and forth more than once a day got tiring. Still, Kadal was a wonderful stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Pondy.

We stayed two days and found the place peaceful and comfortable. The caretakers were very kind and helpful. There was a nice sit-out beside the pool, where we could relax or even work from home 😜

The pool and lawn were great, and the beach is only 400m away. We loved the location. A great find for a family or a group of friends, and it works well for a workation too.

Krishna Bhaiya was always there for us and went out of his way to help with anything we needed. Cook Didi made comforting, delicious meals that felt like home, and Parthi kept checking that I had everything I needed. The whole staff were genuinely caring and professional. I stayed for seven days and was pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade. The hotel is beautiful, and its pool stayed clean and well maintained, making it a lovely place to relax. Their combined care made this a memorable, comfortable stay, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

For a big group, it was a treat to have spacious rooms with a private bathroom for each one. The place is also very kid-friendly, and every morning brought fresh, tasty South Indian food. We had a great retreat at Kadal The beach house, where the staff were friendly and looked after us so well. It's close to everything, and the pool is gorgeous. There was laundry service, a dishwasher, and a lovely kitchen stocked with all the amenities. I'd recommend it for a large family gathering or office retreat. The thoughtful room design also makes it a good fit for solo travelers or couples. Thanks to all the staff at Kadal, especially le Marc and team!
